ESPN Cravath Radio Australia has confirmed that the ABC’s ratings for the week ending 31 March were up 5% from the same week last year.
The network is also reporting that it has had a “significant increase” in digital viewership.

In addition to the above figures, the network reported a 7% increase in digital audience, with digital viewing up 13%.
The ABC also announced a “massive increase” for the ABC News app.
For the first time ever, the ABC has also reported a significant increase in online advertising revenue.
Digital ad revenue is up by 14.2%, while online ad revenue rose by 5.3%.
In total, the show’s audience has risen by 10.4%.
A “massive” increase is a big one, and one that the show will be keen to trumpet.
But the ABC is also claiming that it is now “building up” its digital audience and will continue to do so.
That said, its digital revenue figures for this week are a bit mixed.
According to the ABC, digital advertising revenue rose 3% to $4.4 billion, while the total audience figure was down 3% at 3.2 million.
“We are continuing to build up our digital audience,” the network said.
While this week’s numbers do not give a full picture of the show, they do suggest that the digital growth is substantial.
